Homemade skin cream

So, today, in desperation, I made a discovery. My skin is terribly dry in winter and I ran out of cream. Nothing but lotion available. Well, lotion just doesn't cut it, in winter. Just not thick enough. As I was looking around the bathroom, I happened upon a tube of Vitamin A&D ointment. Now, I think this is the stuff of miracles. I used it when my children were babies, to prevent diaper rash. I used it when I cared for my grandfather to prevent skin ulcers. It has wonderful healing properties and it's cheap! Sooooo, I thought, wonder what would happen if I combined it with some lotion? I have tons of lotions! I used approximately one teaspoon with approximately six tablespoons of lotion. Just keep mixing with my fingers until it felt slightly less thick than a cream. I thought, I can always add more, but I can't remove it once it's in there. Miracle of miracles!!!  This stuff is great! A little goes a long
way, and my skin feels baby soft! Plus, it's a lot cheaper than creams!
